T Threes: Candles, Coffee and Cinema

Welcome to T Threes where each week I tell you guys three different things I have recently tried out or some cool little tips I would love to share with you.

Each week can be totally different than the last on what I write about; so keep checking this category out every first Saturday of each month .

This week is going to be my favorite scents of candles from Bath and Body Works, my favorite coffees and the movies I have recently seen; though they might be old.

Candles

Who doesn’t love candles? Seriously I will wait for it. Candles are one of the best things ever. There are so many scents. It is like going to the beach and finding that perfect seashell just for you. I am one of those people who have different scented candles in designated areas of my home.

There’s the welcome scent; you know when company first enter your home then the kitchen scent; the powder room scent which of course is different than the regular bathrooms. Then there’s the ones for the living room and then bedroom and I can’t forget my home office. Although I will say I do typically use essential oil in the office.

If you think that is overload, then me having different scents for different season might have you shaking your head.

As the weather is warming up I start to put up my winter scents which are always smokey and warm and cozy. Anything that smells like outdoors camping I will try out.

For Spring I love smells that reminds me of walking along the beach or seating somewhere in a garden or that walking into grandma house right after she has just finish cleaning the house and the windows are open.

My three go to scents from Bath and Body Works right now are Rose Water and Ivy, Blue Ocean Waves and Sun drenched linen. They give me those exact smells and just turns the house into this coastal fresh vibe.

Coffee Coffee Coffee

OK! Disclaimer; I love love and love coffee. One of my cousin and I thing is to random pick small cafes in the local or nearby area and try out their coffees. Right at the moment I have two locations I hit up for quick, know I am going to love it coffee. They are the French Vanilla from Wawa and a Vanilla Latte with one extra pump of vanilla from Starbucks. I will add a honorary mention of the London Fog Tea Latte also from Starbucks. Oh my! It is so good. Don’t take my word for it, try one; a tall ; just in the small chance you don’t like it and thank me later. It has lavender, vanilla and milk in the Earl Grey tea. If you are a fan of tea milk and honey you will be happy you found this blog and you are welcome.

Cinema

Movies are something my family and I try to watch together a few times a month. We like going to the movie theaters and making it a whole date of things but we love waiting til the big movies hit Direct TV and we do movies at home. We can cook or order out and watch in our pajamas. We can also hit the pause button for any random breaks that always happen. This month we have two favorite movies we have watched more than once.

The first is the incredible Aquaman with the talented and amazing eye candy; Jason Momoa (who has a beautiful wife named Lisa Bonet), Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, Nicole Kidman, Dolph Lundgren, talented Willem Dafoe, Yahya Abdul-Mate II, Temuera Morrison and many more awesome actors and actresses.

Personally I am a sci-fi comic type woman, so the visual effects that was created for this film was right up my alley. We fully enjoyed it from the beginning til the end. I will say we all agreed that the Mantis outfit was not a good look. I thought that who ever designed it was probably envisioning a modern but strong feel to it; however our household just couldn’t grasp the strong willed revengeful villain in the bug suit. It clearly went over our heads.

My little cousin was not feeling the romantic story line between Aquaman and Mera; because she has already claimed him as her future husband. I of course had to remind her that one he has a wife and two even if he didn’t, by the time she was old enough to date him; there is a good chance he won’t be her type anymore.

The second one was Ant-man and the Wasp. This one took my husband a while to get me on board to watch. He tried when it first hit the movie theaters but I just could not bring myself to watch Ant man. What can I say he eventually wore me down and I am glad he did. The movie was so much funnier and good overall than I had expected.

It starred Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Pena, Walton Goggins, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Tip “T.I” Harris, Michelle Pfeiffer, Laurence Fishburne, Michael Douglas, Hannah john Kamen, Randall Park and David Dastmalchian. Talented actors and actresses again who made the movie so comical that my family and I faces were sore from laughing so much. I don’t want to give any of the story line a way this time but trust me it is a fun family night movie.

So there you have it my threes for this week. Hope you get a chance to try out one of them and I would love to know if you agree or disagree on how awesome they are. Til next week on the threes. Cheers!
